My faves, Rubybox Beauty sent me some TRESemme products to help me recreate a quick dreadlocks-version Braided Crossover Hair Tutorial, which I have done for the All Things Hair project (check it out on Instagram and Youtube!)
My PR package included:
- Expert Selection Keratin Smooth Shampoo
- Expert Selection Keratin Smooth Conditioner
- Styling Mousse Volume and Lift
- Styling Extra Hold Hairspray
In addition to these products I used
- Long Bobby Pins
- A Brush
- A tooth brush (to lay my edges)
- 4 Crocodile clips
- Mixed Dread Lock Dreadlocks Gold and Silver Plated Beads (Metal Cuffs)
At first I didn’t know if this hairdo would work because I have dreadlocks, and it’s harder to recreate hairstyles meant for other hair types. I decided to do it with my own twist. I washed, conditioned and moisturized my hair (which took a thousand years to dry) before styling.
