Sooooo if you’ve been paying attention to my blog and instagram, you would’ve noticed that I’ve been on a journey to getting hydrated skin. Two weeks ago, Ruby box beauty and L’occitane En Provence sent me the Aqua Réotier range to try out and review. This was after I went to L’occitane in Pavilion to have a hydration test and was told my skin was very dry and dehydrated using the moisture meter.
After my two week trial, I went back to L’occitane to have a new test done on my skin. I wasn’t sure what the results would be, but I knew they had improved because my skin has been feeling amazing ever since I started using the Aqua Réotier range (check out my previous blog post and see!)
I was so shocked and happy to know that I had gone from 37 to 56 on the moisture meter! Remember that the meter shows a number from 0 to 99, with 0 indicating the lowest and 99 indicating the highest moisture level. Results from 0 to 40 mean you have dry skin that needs more moisture; from 40 to 70, your skin is deemed “normal”; and from 70 to 99, your skin has plenty of moisture.
After only 2 weeks of using the products, my skin has improved drastically. I’m very impressed. If you were still contemplating whether the L’occitane Aqua Réotier range works or not, I think you can see by my results that it’s worth the try. Skincare is trial and error anyway, so don’t be afraid to try different products, until you find the best one for you. Make sure that you get an expert opinion before opting for the trial and error route, so that you’re well informed about your skin concerns and skin type.
Do you know how hydrated your skin is? If not, you should pop into your nearest L’occitane En Provence store and find out. The hydration test is free of charge!
